1. Who we are and what you're agreeing to
PrepMeX ("PrepMeX", "we", "us") is an independent exam-preparation service operated as a sole proprietorship in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is an online exam-preparation platform that provides realistic, timed exam simulations, practice runs, section-level drills, AI-generated scoring and feedback, progress analytics, and study tools (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund and Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You can reach us any time at support@prepmex.com, and from inside your account under Settings → Help & support. We reply within one business day. The operator's registered legal and identity details are held by Dodo Payments as part of its merchant verification, and we will provide them to any buyer on request at support@prepmex.com.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use PrepMeX. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password confidential — you are responsible for all activity under your account.
- One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred.
- Tell us immediately at support@prepmex.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. The Service
PrepMeX offers three separate study products for each exam: full-length exam simulations, whole-exam Test Mode runs, and single-section practice. Each is graded independently, and practice results are always labeled as practice — they are never presented as official results.
All scores, bands, and feedback produced by the Service — including AI-generated scores for speaking and writing — are study estimates intended to guide your preparation. They are not official scores, and they do not predict or guarantee any result on a real exam.
4. Our content is our own, and what PrepMeX is not
Every question, reading passage, listening script, audio recording, speaking prompt, writing task, answer key and scoring rubric on PrepMeX is original material that we wrote and produced ourselves for this platform. We do not copy, scrape, reproduce, licence, resell or otherwise reuse questions or content from any examination body, past or present exam paper, live examination, or any other publisher. All audio, images and illustrations in the Service are likewise produced for PrepMeX or used under a licence that permits it, and we own or hold the rights to all of it.
Our simulations resemble a real exam in structure only — the timing, the section order, the item formats, the number of questions and the scoring scale follow the specifications the examination bodies publish openly. Following a published format is not the same as reproducing exam content, and we do not do the latter.
PrepMeX is an independent study platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to ETS, the British Council, IDP, Cambridge Assessment, the College Board, ETEC, or any other examination body, and we do not represent that we are. All third-party names and trademarks appear only to identify the exam a course prepares you for, and belong to their respective owners.
So that there is no doubt about what we sell, PrepMeX does not:
- Issue, sell, arrange, or help you obtain any certificate, diploma, score report, or credential of any kind. We sell practice; the exam bodies award scores, and only they can.
- Register you for a real exam, act for you with an examination body, or influence a real exam result in any way.
- Provide impersonation or proxy test-taking, or any assistance to a person sitting a live examination.
- Distribute leaked, stolen, or otherwise unauthorized exam material, question dumps, or answers to any live exam.
- Promise, guarantee, or imply a particular score, band, pass, admission, visa, or job outcome.
Using PrepMeX to cheat in a real examination — or attempting to obtain our content for that purpose — is a serious breach of these Terms and will result in immediate termination without refund, to the extent permitted by law.
5. Plans, payments, and auto-renewal
Each exam on PrepMeX is sold separately with its own plans and prices, shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase. The two paid plans bill differently, and the difference is stated again on the checkout page before you pay: the Monthly plan is a subscription that renews every month at the then-current price until you cancel, and the 3-Month plan is a single upfront payment that buys three months and does not renew — when it ends, nothing is charged again unless you buy again.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: when you buy a plan, your purchase contract for that transaction is with Dodo Payments, which collects the payment, charges and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT, issues the invoice, and provides billing support. The contracting party is one of Dodo Payments Inc, Dodope Payments Limited and Sarvapanchhi Technologies Private Limited (together, the Dodo Payments group); which one depends on where you are, and the current details are published at dodopayments.com/legal. Dodo's Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy apply to the transaction alongside these Terms.
Your payment details are entered on Dodo's checkout and go directly to Dodo — we never see or store your full card number. Because Dodo Payments is the seller of record, the charge on your card or bank statement appears under "DODOPAY_PREPMEX" (some banks shorten it to "DODOPAY") rather than PrepMeX. If you do not recognise a charge, please email support@prepmex.com before disputing it with your bank; we can identify the order in seconds.
The price shown on our pricing page is the total you pay. Sales tax and VAT are already included in it, so a buyer in a country with 15% VAT and a buyer in a country with none are charged the same figure at checkout.
Where we publish a price in your local currency, that price is fixed: it is an amount we set, not a live conversion, so it does not change when exchange rates move, and no currency-conversion fee is added to it. We pay any conversion cost ourselves. Fixed local prices can be changed by us from time to time, and any change applies only to purchases and renewals made after it takes effect — never to a payment you have already made. If we publish no price in your currency, your price is the one shown in the plan's own currency.
The Monthly plan renews itself. Auto-renewal is on from the moment you buy it, it charges the same card on the same day each month, and it continues until you switch it off — we will never ask you again before a renewal, which is why the next renewal date is printed on your billing page at all times.
You can switch auto-renewal off yourself, in a few seconds, at Settings → Billing: press "Cancel auto-renewal" on the plan and confirm. We show you exactly what happens before anything changes. You do not need to email us, and you do not need to reach us during working hours. Switching it off stops all future charges immediately; it does not end the period you have already paid for — you keep full access and that period's remaining credits until its last day, and both end with it (section 6). You can switch auto-renewal back on from the same place at any time before that last day. The 3-Month plan has no auto-renewal to cancel: it is a single payment that never renews, and nothing further is charged unless you buy again.
Refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Cancelling and refunding are different actions: cancelling stops the next charge, a refund returns a charge already made.
6. Credits
Paid plans include a credit allowance that is spent when you start study activities. At the time of writing, the Monthly plan includes 6,500 credits per month and the 3-Month plan includes 22,500 credits per purchase. The free plan is credit-free: it gives you unlimited retakes of one fixed Reading and Listening practice set, drawn from the same question bank as the paid plans. Free attempts are recorded but not scored, and they receive no answer review and no AI feedback. Scores, answer review, AI feedback, full simulations, Test Mode, and Speaking and Writing practice are paid features. Current allowances and the credit price of each activity are always shown on the pricing page.
A full simulation currently costs 125 credits, a Test Mode run 100 credits, a Reading or Listening practice 20 credits, and a Speaking or Writing practice 45 credits. We may adjust activity prices and allowances prospectively; changes never reduce credits you have already received.
- Credits are a usage allowance, not money. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
- Credits granted by a paid plan are tied to the exam that plan was purchased for.
- Credits are valid for the period that granted them. A Monthly plan's credits are valid for that month, and a 3-Month plan's for those three months; whatever is unused when the period ends expires and is not carried over. Renewing grants a fresh allowance for the new period. Credits are also removed where a refund removes the credits from that charge (see the Refund Policy) or where your account is terminated under section 11.
- Where we grant credits outside a plan — a goodwill gesture, a support fix, a promotion — we tell you at the time how long they are valid for. Some are open-ended; those stay until they are spent.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, record, redistribute, publish, or resell any part of the question bank, prompts, audio, scoring rubrics, or feedback.
- Share an account, or access the Service through another person's account.
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to access the Service, or attempt to probe, disable, or overload it.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, data, or models behind the Service.
- Use the Service, or anything taken from it, to cheat in or interfere with a real examination.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes anyone's rights.
- Abuse free credits, trials, or the refund process (for example by creating multiple accounts).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. Where the violation involves copying or redistributing exam content or abusing promotional credit, termination may be immediate and without refund, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Intellectual property
The Service — including its question bank, audio, software, design, and branding — is created and owned by PrepMeX (see section 4) and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own exam preparation. No other rights are granted.
The essays you write and the speaking responses you record remain yours. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process them in order to provide the Service — including transcription, AI grading, feedback translation, and showing you your own results and history.
If you believe anything on PrepMeX infringes your rights, write to support@prepmex.com with the details and we will investigate and act promptly.
9. AI-generated content
Speaking and writing responses are scored with the help of third-party AI models, which also generate the written feedback and its translations. AI output can contain mistakes: a score or comment may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent. AI feedback is provided as study guidance only, and we do not guarantee its accuracy.
10. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep the Service available and fast, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation — maintenance windows, updates, and failures of third-party providers can cause downtime.
The Service evolves: we may add, change, or remove features, exams, or content. If we discontinue a paid feature that is core to your plan, we will provide a fair remedy, such as a pro-rated refund for the remainder of the paid period.
11. Termination
You may stop using PrepMeX and delete your account at any time, yourself, at Settings → Support → Delete this account. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone; if you have an active subscription, cancel it first so you are not charged again. You can also ask us at support@prepmex.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice in that case).
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual-property, disclaimer, and liability provisions — survive it.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose — and specifically any warranty that practice scores predict real exam results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepMeX will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities (including exam outcomes). Our total liability for all claims arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, or limits the mandatory consumer rights of the country you live in.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live in a jurisdiction whose consumer-protection law grants you additional non-waivable rights, those rights are unaffected.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service grows. For material changes we will give notice — for example by email or an in-product message — before the new terms take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
